HO 102 Applications

As a nonionic polymeric viscosifier derived from natural Guar bean, HO 102 is of suitable substitution level, good aquadissolvability/dispersibility, and high compatibility with anionic and nonionic surfactant. With its excellent electrolyte tolerance, viscosity and good shear dilutability, HO 102 can be used in fracture fluids and drilling mud in oil field industry.

Fracture fluids are for the purpose to improve drill productivity and made by mixing HO 102 with water, cross-linker, polymerizing agent, and proppant. The normal level of use in fracture is 0.3~0.5% by weight.

In drilling mud, HO 102 can give the mud features like moisture-keeping, lubricating, and can significantly reduce water loss and damage to stratum.

Put HO 102 into the water with stirring, adding at the point of greatest agitation. Viscosity will develop without adjusting solution PH value.
